Apple highights new MacBooks at conference

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Apple Inc. on Monday announced a major revamp of its MacBook line of laptop computers. The company added a new MacBook Pro that it said comes with the retina display technology used in the iPad. The so-called "next generation" MacBook Pro comes with a 15.4-inch screen and is 0.7 inches thick and up to 768 gigabytes of storage. Apple also showed off updates to its current MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptops.
The announcements were made at Apple's annual developers conference in San Francisco.
