Italy, Spain prevail in Euro 2012 matches

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) -- Italy and Spain emerged victorious in their Euro 2012 Group C matches Monday. The Italians beat the Republic of Ireland 2-0 while Spain prevailed over Croatia by 1-0. Both winners will now advance to the next round.
