CFO reiterates NetApp's first-quarter forecasts

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- NetApp Inc. on Tuesday reiterated its first-quarter earnings and revenue forecasts as company executives briefed industry analysts at a meeting in New York. Chief Financial Officer Nick Noviello said the data-storage technology company still expects to earn between 34 cents and 39 cents a share, excluding one-time items, on revenue in a range of $1.4 billion to $1.5 billion for NetApp's current fiscal first-quarter. NetApp shares gave up some of their gains, but were still up by 39 cents at $30.46, as trading progressed.
