Dow industrials tap fresh session lows

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- The Dow Jones Industrial Average touched a fresh session low Thursday, pressured by U.S. economic data as traders digested details of the results of an audit on Spain's banking sector. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 153 points, or 1.2%, to 12,671.77 after trading as low as 12,650.70. The S&P 500 shed 19 points, or 1.4%, to 1,337.05, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 47 points, or 1.6%, to 2,883.81.
