Valeant Pharma paying up to $426 mln for OraPharma

NEW YORK (MarketWatch -- Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. said Friday it'll pay up to $426 million to buy OraPharma from private equity firm Water Street Healthcare Parnters. The price includes $312 million and up to $114 million in milestone payments. The deal, which is expected to close by the end of month, will add to Valeant's adjusted earnings in 2012.
