SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures ended higher on Friday, but not enough to notch a weekly gain. Investors seeking some gold ahead of a three-day weekend in the U.S. pushed the metal for June delivery $11.40 higher, or 0.7%, to $1,568.90 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Weekly losses, however, reached 1.4% since gold and other metals sold off on Wednesday.
