Cintas posts 11% higher profit

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Corporate uniform supplier Cintas Corp. reported late Monday a fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $78.6 million, or 60 cents a share, up from $70.8 billion, or 49 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter rose 4.1% to $1.05 billion. Nine analysts polled by FactSet Research had predicted the company would earn 60 cents a share on $1.07 billion in revenue. Shares of Cincinnati-based Cintas have risen 27% in the past 12 months, closing at $39.41 Monday and nearing its 52 week high of $40.61.
