Foreigners sold Japanese stocks last week: report
SYDNEY (MarketWatch) -- Foreign investors sold a net 64.1 billion yen ($815.1 million) of Japanese stocks last week, the Nikkei reported on Friday. That was the first week of selling for three weeks, according to the report. Domestic Japanese investors were also net sellers last week, according to the report. At the same time, hedge funds and other short-term investors aggressively bought stock-index futures last week, helping fuel gains for the Nikkei Stock Average , the report said.
