NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Shares of leading real estate investment trusts and an exchange-traded fund that tracks the sector were up in early afternoon trading Friday. Equity Residential Properties Trust , ProLogis , Kimco Realty Corporation , Apartment Investment and Management Co. , Simon Property Group Inc. , Boston Properties Inc. , Vornado Realty Trust and SPDR DJ Wilshire REIT ETF were all seeing gains, with Equity Residential Properties and ProLogis up the most at 3% at the latest.
