Conference Board's Leading Economic Index for September Increases as Expected

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 extends its opening losses after a slight bump, now trading 0.7% lower.

Just in, the Conference Board's Leading Economic Index increased 0.5% in September (Briefing.com consensus +0.5%), and the August reading was unrevised at an increase of 0.4%.
