Wayfair stock slips on debt offering
Wayfair Inc. (W) shares fell in the extended session Tuesday after the home-furnishings retailer proposed a debt offering. Wayfair shares declined 2.4% after hours, following a 0.8% gain to close the regular session at $125. Wayfair said it was offering $750 million in convertible senior notes due in 2026, with an option for an additional $112.5 million. Wayfair said it plans to reduce the potential dilution of its shares. "In connection with the pricing of the notes, the Company expects to enter into privately negotiated capped call transactions with one or more of the initial purchasers and/or their respective affiliates and/or certain other financial institutions," the company said in a statement
