UPDATE: Tyson Foods to pay $221.5 million to settle claims in broiler chicken antitrust litigation

Tyson Foods Inc. (TSN) said Wednesday it has agreed to settle all class claims in its previously disclosed broiler chicken antitrust litigation and will pay an aggregate of $221.5 million in settlements. The settlements will be reflected in its first-quarter 2021 financial statements. Shares rose 1.6% in premarket trade, but are down 29% in the last 12 months, while the S&P 500 has gained 14%.
