'Evacuate when ordered,' Biden tells Floridians as state braces for Hurricane Ian

President Joe Biden on Tuesday urged Floridians to "evacuate when ordered" as the state was bracing for Hurricane Ian. Speaking at the White House ahead of a health-care event, Biden said he spoke to the mayors of Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Tampa and told them, "whatever they need, contact me directly." A new report estimated that more than a million homes along the Florida Gulf Coast are at risk of being damaged by the storm.
