Gold swings to losses on the week with Friday's dollar-driven declines

We're little changed in the last half hour with the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (-0.31%) narrowly in the "lead" with the shallowest declines.Gold futures settled $21.50 lower (-1.2%) to $1,829.90/oz, pushing the yellow metal to a -0.3% loss on the week, as the greenback is finding decent gains to close out the week.The U.S. Dollar Index advances +0.6% on Friday to $90.74.
