Twitter rises after new acquisition

The S&P 500 is trading lower by 0.1% alongside the Nasdaq (-0.1%).Shares of Twitter (TWTR 50.47, +2.64, +5.5%) are up 5.5% after the company settled a shareholder derivative lawsuit and announced the acquisition of Revue, which is a service that makes it "free and easy for anyone to start and publish editorial newsletters."Overseas, the major European indices closed in positive territory. Germany's DAX gained 1.9%, UK's FTSE gained 0.2%, and France's CAC gained 0.9%. The Europe Stoxx 600 advanced 0.7%.
