Things are little changed in the last half hour. Semiconductor stocks are a weak spot in an otherwise fairly broad advance today. The PHLX Semiconductor Index (SOX) is down 1.2% with most components trading down. Intel (INTC 28.10, -1.06, -3.7%), Applied Materials (AMAT 118.53, -5.51, -4.5%), and NVIDIA (NVDA 255.74, -2.91, -1.1%) are among the more notable laggards from the SOX. Notably, small and mid cap stocks are outpacing their larger peers. The Russell 2000 is up 1.7% and the S&P Mid Cap 400 is up 1.6%.
