PC shipments rise in Q2 on improved processor supply, tariff fears
Global personal computer shipments rose 4.7% to 64.9 million in the second quarter on improved supply for Intel Corp. (INTC) processors and moves by some PC makers to ship a surplus of products with a threat of increased tariffs, market researcher IDC Corp (https://www.idc.com/getdoc.jsp?containerId=prUS45358619). said Thursday. Lenovo Group Ltd., HP Inc. (HPQ), Dell Technologies Inc. (DELL), Acer Group, and Apple Inc. (AAPL) comprised the top five PC sellers.
