The major averages began today's session on a higher note with the Nasdaq (+0.4%) continuing yesterday's outperformance. The Dow (+0.5%) is also showing relative strength after lagging yesterday.All but two sectors trade in the green at this time with energy (+1.2%), industrials (+0.7%), and communication services (+0.4%) leading the advance while utilities (-0.8%) and consumer staples (-0.3%) lag. Treasuries hold modest losses with the 10-yr yield rising one basis point to 1.10%.
