Crown Castle Inc. owns, operates and leases shared communications infrastructure. Its segments include Towers and Fiber. The Towers segment provides access, including space or capacity, to its towers, which are geographically dispersed throughout the United States. The Towers segment also reflects certain ancillary services relating to the Company's towers, predominately consisting of site development services and installation services. The Fiber segment provides access, including space or capacity, to its fiber primarily supporting small cell networks and fiber solutions geographically dispersed throughout the United States. Its business is providing access, including space or capacity, to its shared communications infrastructure via long-term contracts in various forms. It has approximately 40,000 towers and other structures, such as rooftops, and 85,000 route miles of fiber, primarily supporting small cell networks and fiber solutions.
