Cyclo Therapeutics, Inc. is a clinical stage biotechnology company that develops cyclodextrin-based products for the treatment of disease. The Company’s lead drug candidate, Trappsol Cyclo (hydroxypropyl beta cyclodextrin) is a treatment for Niemann-Pick Type C disease (NPC). NPC is a rare and fatal cholesterol metabolism disease that impacts the brain, lungs, liver, spleen, and other organs. It is also focusing on the use of cyclodextrins in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Its product lines include Trappsol and Aquaplex. The Company also sells cyclodextrins and related products to the pharmaceutical, nutritional, and other industries, primarily for use in diagnostics and specialty drugs. The Company sells its chemical products directly to customers in the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and industrial chemical industries, and to chemical supply distributors.
