It operates through three segments: North America, International and Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS offers a set of technology services, including compute, storage, database, analytics, machine learning, Internet of Things, cloud and serverless computing. In addition, it provides services, such as advertising to sellers, vendors, publishers, authors, and others, through programs such as sponsored ads, display, and video advertising. It also offers Amazon Prime, a membership program that includes free shipping, access to streaming of various movies and television (TV) episodes, including Amazon Original content.
