UPDATE: These are the U.S. stock market's biggest losers this week

By Philip van Doorn, MarketWatch

Johnson & Johnson led the Dow Jones Industrial Average lower

Brutal price action continued for U.S. stock investors Friday, with all three major indices ending with big declines.

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) led the largest companies lower, with the shares dropping 10%, after Reuters reported that the company knew for decades that its baby powder was contaminated with asbestos (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/johnson-johnson-stock-slammed-by-report-it-knew-of-asbestos-in-baby-powder-2018-12-14).

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 497 points (2%), while the S&P 500 Index fell 1.9% and the Nasdaq Composite Index declined 2.3% after economic data out of China missed economists' forecasts (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/china-economic-activity-mostly-slowed-in-november-2018-12-14).
