Wells Fargo considering keeping interim CEO at the position: report

The Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC) board is considering keeping interim Chief Executive Allen Parker at the helm, according to a Reuters report (https://www.cnbc.com/2019/06/05/wells-fargo-is-considering-appointing-interim-ceo-allen-parker-to-the-position-permanently-sources-tell-reuters.html?__source=twitter%7Cmain) on Wednesday that cited two people familiar with the board's thinking. A final decision could take months, the report said. Wells Fargo former CEO Tim Sloan stepped down in March (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/wells-fargo-ceo-tim-sloan-to-step-down-2019-03-28). Parker had previously served as Wells Fargo's general counsel. Shares of Wells Fargo fell 0.6% in the extended session after ending the regular trading day up 0.4%.
