UPDATE: These stocks have plunged the most since Powell and Trump crashed investors' party

By Philip van Doorn, MarketWatch

Nike, Intel and Cisco Systems lead the Dow lower

(Updates with performance through the close Aug. 5.)

What a difference a week can make. Following new highs for U.S. indexes, dozens of large-cap stocks have fallen since the Federal Reserve handed a gift to investors last week.

The Federal Open Market Committee surprised nobody when lowering the federal funds rate a quarter point July 31, but Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell set the stage for a four-day market decline when his comments were less dovish than the market expected (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/how-the-fed-and-jerome-powell-sent-shockwaves-through-financial-markets-2019-07-31).

Then, with a remarkable sense of timing, after saying via Twitter that "Powell let us down (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/as-usual-powell-let-us-down-trump-tweets-after-fed-fails-to-back-stronger-monetary-easing-2019-07-31)" by not being aggressive enough in taking action to stimulate the economy, President Trump announced another round of tariffs on imports from China (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/trump-announces-new-tariffs-on-chinese-goods-starting-sept-1-2019-08-01) on Friday.

China in turn allowed the yuan to decline significantly against the dollar (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/china-sensitive-stocks-slide-sharply-as-yuan-devaluation-adds-to-trade-conflict-fears-2019-08-05).

The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 767 points (2.9%) on Monday. The S&P 500 Index fell 3% and the Nasdaq Composite Index tumbled 3.5%.

To factor in the post-Fed reaction, as well as Trump's latest announced round of tariffs, the following are lists of stocks that have declined the most since the close July 30.
