Barrick Gold Corp is a gold mining company. The Company is principally engaged in the production and sale of gold and copper, as well as related activities, such as exploration and mine development. The Company's segments include Barrick Nevada, Golden Sunlight, Hemlo, Jabal Sayid, Lagunas Norte, Lumwana, Porgera, Pueblo Viejo, Turquoise Ridge, Veladero and Zaldvar. Pueblo Viejo, Lagunas Norte, Veladero and Turquoise Ridge are its individual gold mines. The Company, through its subsidiary Acacia, owns gold mines and exploration properties in Africa. Its Porgera is a gold mine. Zaldivar and Lumwana are copper mines. The Pascua-Lama project is located on the border between Chile and Argentina. The Company owns a number of producing gold mines, which are located in Canada, the United States, Peru, Argentina, Australia and the Dominican Republic.

Just 10 S&P 500 stocks were trading higher on Monday, as benchmark indexes sold off in response to an oil price war between Russia and Saudi Arabia. The biggest gainer was Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. (COG) after Cowen analysts said the " best-in-class gassy name" should be favored in the current selloff. The stock was up 11.4% in morning trade. Three car parts makers were higher, after Credit Suisse said that sector had the least exposure to supply chain disruption in China, given "slow turns, and adequate inventory position currently. Biggest risk seems to be late Spring shipments, and some seasonal categories within that," analysts wrote in a Monday note. "Bigger concerns would be demand recently, but stocks seem to be reflecting concerns, having lagged in recent months.' AutoZone Inc. (AZO) stock was up 3%, O'Reilly Automotive Inc. (ORLY) was up 2.6% and Advance Auto Parts Inc. (AAP) was up 1.2%. The other gainers were Walmart Inc. (WMT), up 2%, Dollar Tree Inc. (DLTR), up 1.4%, Twitter Inc. (TWTR), up 1%, H&R Block Inc. (HRB), up 1%, Clorox Co. (CLX), up 0.9% and Dollar General Corp. (DG), up 0.7%.
