Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) confirmed Monday that some customers of its Teams collaborative-work platform are experiencing outages after reports of broad service disruptions in Europe. "We've taken steps to address an issue that a subset of our customers may have experienced. Our engineering teams continue to actively monitor performance and usage trends," a company spokesperson said in a statement to MarketWatch. It remained unclear if the service was feeling the impact of more employees working from home. Some of the largest companies -- including Microsoft, Apple Inc. (AAPL), Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL)(GOOGL), and Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) -- have encouraged employees with the ability to work from home to do so.
