Ford Motor Company (F) said Monday it is temporarily suspending vehicle and engine production at its International Markets Group (IMG) manufacturing sites in India, South Africa, Thailand and Vietnam because of the growing impact of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. The car maker said the suspensions began on Saturday and are expected to continue for several weeks. The company has already temporarily suspended vehicle and engine production in North America, Europe and South America. The company is ordering employees to work from home unless they have a business-critical job that requires being onsite. Shares were down 0.2% premarket and have fallen 49% in the last 12 months, while the S&P 500 has fallen 18%.
