Google parent Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL)(GOOGL) on Tuesday said it has agreed to acquire North, a Canadian startup that has developed Focals smart glasses. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though The Globe and Mail in Toronto pegged the value at $180 million. "North's technical expertise will help as we continue to invest in our hardware efforts and ambient computing future," Google said in a statement. Google's stock is flat on Tuesday.
