Apple Inc. (AAPL) plans to host its WWDC developer event beginning June 7. The smartphone giant held the event virtually last year during the pandemic and is keeping that all-online format again this year. WWDC, which will run from June 7 to June 11, historically features Apple's latest operating system announcements for its various devices including the iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch. Apple said in a release that the event "will offer unique insight into the future of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS." Apple shares are off 1.5% in Tuesday morning trading. They've lost 10.6% over the past three months as the Dow Jones Industrial Average has added 10%.
