Each cup is designed to look like gift wrapping with a gift tag providing space for a message.
The company is also offering a snowman-shaped cookie, sugar plum danish and other seasonal food items.
Starbucks reported last week fiscal fourth-quarter earnings that beat expectations but sales that fell short.
The company's stock is up 5% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index has rallied 24% for the period.
