President Joe Biden praised Micron Technology's announcement on Thursday about a new manufacturing plant in Idaho, saying it's "another big win" for the country. "Just this week, we've seen First Solar, Toyota, Honda, and Corning make major announcements of new investments and new jobs as a direct result of my economic plan," Biden said in a statement. The president's statement comes as he's slated to speak at 8 p.m. Eastern Thursday about the "continued battle for the soul of the nation." Biden and his fellow Democrats are aiming to keep their control of the U.S House and Senate in November's midterm elections, while Republicans have argued that Biden hasn't handled economic issues well and has made inflation worse.
