The Single-Family segment includes purchase, securitization, and guarantee of single-family loans, its investments in single-family loans and mortgage-related securities, the management of Single-Family mortgage credit risk and market risk, and any results of its treasury function that are not allocated to each segment. The Multifamily segment includes purchase, securitization, and guarantee of multifamily loans, its investments in multifamily loans and mortgage-related securities, and the management of multifamily mortgage credit risk and market risk.

Sanborn to step down; Duncan becomes EVP & COO on January 1, 2023

Norfolk Southern Corporation (NYSE: NSC) today announced that Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Cindy Sanborn will step down at the end of 2022 after a groundbreaking 35-year career in the railroad industry.Paul Duncan, currently Senior Vice President Transportation & Network Operations, will succeed Sanborn effective January 1, 2023.

Duncan joined Norfolk Southern in March 2022 as Vice President Network Planning & Operations and was promoted in September 2022 to Senior Vice President Transportation & Network Operations.He led the implementation of Norfolk Southern's TOP|SPG operating plan and played a central role in the company's service recovery effort, earning praise for his ability to bring people together and collaborate effectively across teams to drive results.
