Shares of AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. (AMC) rallied 2.7% in premarket trading Friday, after the movie theater operator said more than 1 million people have returned to its theaters the three weeks since reopenings began. The company said that as of Sept. 12, the company will have resumed operations at more than 460 locations in the U.S., or nearly 80% of its U.S. locations, including more than 35 theaters opening this week. The stock has rallied 14.9% over the past three months through Thursday, but has still lost 18.0% year to date, while the S&P 500 has gained 3.4% this year.
