The chief executives of Facebook, Twitter and Google will testify before House lawmakers on March 25 about "misinformation and disinformation plaguing online platforms," the House Energy and Commerce Committee said Thursday. "These online platforms have allowed misinformation to spread, intensifying national crises with real-life, grim consequences for public health and safety," said Chairman Frank Pallone, a New Jersey Democrat. Facebook (FB) CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Google (GOOGL)(GOOGL) CEO Sundar Pichai and Twitter (TWTR) CEO Jack Dorsey will testify.
